Ordinary household and recreational activities bring flame, heat and sparks close to vegetation. Visitors may not know local rules or recognize rapidly changing fire danger, and restrictions can be difficult to communicate or enforce across dispersed access points.
This issue covers non-commercial private activity. Occupational, infrastructure and deliberate ignitions are treated separately.
