Energy and transport systems cross large areas of combustible vegetation. Equipment failure, vegetation contact, rail or road sparks and hot vehicle components can create ignitions far from immediate supervision.
The risk combines asset condition, vegetation management, weather and operational decisions. This issue covers ignition originating from power and transport infrastructure.
