Firework debris is hazardous to clean up due to the chemicals involved, and is often set off at night making immediate cleanup impractical—meaning much of it is lost before beach cleans occur days later.
Description
Picking up debris from fireworks is more hazardous than a regular beach clean due to the chemicals involved. Fireworks are also set off at night, and beach cleanings often don't happen until days or a week later, by which point much of the debris is unrecoverable. This is a two-part issue: fireworks are set off by both citizens and government, requiring different laws and regulations for each. How do we minimize firework debris pollution?
